The Summit County Treasurer & Public Trustee office is indefinitely closed to public access in a community-wide response to COVID-19. The office is responding to voicemail, email, and online chat Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. We have enacted our emergency preparedness plan and have begun telecommuting to ensure we are able to continue to serve the public. The County Treasurer collects all revenues on behalf of public entities which use property tax as a source of revenue. The Treasurer also functions as the County’s banker: Receiving, investing, and disbursing monies in accordance with state statute.
