Emergency Management

The mission of the Summit County Office of Emergency Management is to provide coordination of elected offices and county departments in preparedness, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery to emergencies and disasters.

​Summit County Fire Restrictions Lifted


Summit County does not currently have a fire ban in place. On Aug. 1, the Board of County Commissioners lifted fire restrictions that had been enacted earlier in the summerView statewide fire restriction and fire danger information across Colorado.
